On the central roundabout of Berlin’s Ernst-Reuter-Platz, a glass building resides over the surrounding traffic: The  BHROX bauhaus reuse is a new public think tank and city laboratory for transdisciplinary education, research, and participation. The space between the inside and outside of the Bauhausbox’s gallery walkaround – ‘the gap’ – has been thoroughly stuffed with excessive piles of textiles, closely squeezed together, built up into new layers. Will those discarded clothes become a metaphor for our society? A society, that sets off to shed its skin, that searches for new economic and value systems? 

On 21.2.2021 Performence artists explored the premise, they crawled over piles of fabrics, searching for identity.
